From Adversity to Purpose: The Creation of Heliacal

I made Heliacal in 2022 to start working on my childhood dream: spiritual evolution for humanity.

Growing up, I had a very spiritual childhood, though it didn’t turn out too well.

You know, the whole shabang…SRA, ACE. My grandfather, a Greek man, became a figure I deeply admired because I never had a stable father figure in my life.

My biological father created constant ACEs, leaving me to navigate a tumultuous environment. To cope, I often disassociated by envisioning a better world, finding spirituality to be a powerful medium for hope and transformation.

In July 2024, I created Heliacal, a forum on Reddit (r/heliacal). It began as a small, quiet space to explore and share my passion for astrology, metaphysics, and deeper spiritual topics.

My goal was to create a community where people could connect over meaningful ideas like shamanism, lost civilizations, and the links between ancient wisdom and modern consciousness.

From the start, I focused on organic growth techniques.

I’ve never needed to invest money into the community; instead, I relied on authenticity, consistent engagement, and high-quality content.

And it's working.

Heliacal has grown to over 600 members, a reflection of its resonance with those seeking deeper spiritual understanding.

Recently, I’ve been diving into technical research, coding spiritual metametric models that combine astrology and human design insights. This project aims to tailor personalized advice for self-discovery and growth.

Building Heliacal has been deeply fulfilling, and I’m excited for the next steps in this journey.
